The Chamber and Staff have been a valuable asset to our business. Being a young, and somewhat unique business in the Sanford/Lee County community, the Chamber has been, and continues to be what we consider a strategic business partner in our growth and success. Even more so during these unprecedented times, plagued by a pandemic, we have received multiple calls from Meg (Executive Director) informing us of various programs and grants available for small businesses. These programs and grants have been vital for sustaining operations through these trying times. The Chamber values it members, and strives to connect with each of them. The only reason I was able to establish myself and my financial advisory and business consulting practice in Sanford is because of the Sanford Area Chamber, SAGA, and the incredible staff. In two short years I went from being a new member in the community to a Chamber board member, Chamber Ambassador, and committee chair. The networking, comradery and business exposure opportunities have been amazing. Even during the past year and the era of COVID, SAGA and the Sanford Area Chamber hosted a slew of virtual events to maintain relationships and support local member businesses.
