This is an amazing place I wish all the best to each and every volunteer and staff member for everything from food boxing with such thoughtfulness to management staff who look for ways to help in any way they can! God bless you all! If you need food stop by even during Hurricane Helene crisis, they lined up to prepare food boxes for the various needs of each person with such thought. They even made a shopping place outside to take what you need cases of water, produce, diapers, wipes, and cleaning supplies! Thank you also to the community who brought donations in and drove them to those in need! I witnessed this first hand for days this group is top notch and the county knows where to come when in need.

Disappointed. The CS manager stopped by my house after the hurricane and kindly asked if I needed anything. I said I needed a flashlight and batteries because my batteries died. You also offered home repairs due to my damaged electrical on my roof due to a fallen tree. I was surprised by your generosity and fell for your kindness and cancelled the electrician I hired who was supposed to come the following day. You said you'll be back with a truck full of supplies and handed me your your business card. I called and a person answered and I asked, is this the manager I spoke with earlier? The person said yes, and I said remember me, you stopped by and offered home repairs. The person said she would transfer me to a voicemail. So that tells me that wasn't the same person. I left a voicemail and no return call back. No flashlight or batteries either. I gave you the benefit of the doubt. I waited in darkness thinking you'd still show up, maybe you were delayed. I work in customer service too and you follow through with what you tell people. You don't leave people in the dark either. I admire your mission, however, I'm disappointed with my experience.

After the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, many of us were left without power or hot water and with a lot of spoiled food. However, an angel came to our aid, assessed our needs, and delivered the essentials.
Thank you, Michelle Reedy, you are a diamond in the rough!

The people here are very polite and professional. I never felt like I didn't deserve to seek their assistance. The woman who helped me with registration was informative and kept the mood light with humor. I received plenty of food through their pantry and appreciate all the help.

Thermal belt is such an incredible help for the community & the volunteers there are always so nice and so helpful. Polk County is an amazing place to live and has incredible people that make up a wonderful community, because of places like thermal belt and the people who work there. I am so thankful that my daughter is also able to get nice things there that she may not have other wise.
