Very disappointed with this firm's work with our home closing (5th real state transaction). There was an issue with funds disbursement because we ended up closing 3 days early and no one notified the lender nor the insurance to change closing date on their end. We then had to rush to contact lender and insurance on a Friday to be able to close. We were able to get keys to home very late in the day after much stress and frustration. Also forgot to mention that the firm forgot to recalculate the due interest so then I had to make another trip to write them a check the following week. I was not going to leave a review because I was just grateful to have things sorted and get in my new home..........this was October 2024.

Come February 2025 and I get a letter from the county that the property taxes had not been paid for 2024. I contacted the firm and they confirmed that taxes should have been paid bye the previous sellers. The firm confirmed that that they 'did not catch this' at closing. I had to spend yet more time and stress getting this fixed.

This firm does very sloppy work. Friendly people. Just sloppy legal work.

Very happy with the service we received from Butler and College re closing on our new house. It was a little concerning moving 700 miles after having lived in our house for 33 years and driving with our dog but everything worked out about very smoothly. Thanks again!

The firm handled a new home closing for me. I never dealt with an attorney, it was an assistant or paralegal. She was very friendly and responsive with sending me documents and emails. However, there were two issues i'd consider significant, that results in me giving only 2 stars. First, they mistakenly accelerated my closing date by 3 days without saying a word to me. I found this out from my realtor. I quickly called the paralegal and she acknowledged the mistake and advised she "jumped the gun". If i hadn't called them on this, i suspect i would have owned the property, despite my insurance not going into effect for 3 more days, therefore leaving the house uninsured. A big deal. Second, after closing they sent me the Certificate of Occupancy and it was for the wrong house. When i called the office and spoke to a different paralegal, she advised that "we just forward to you what the home builder sends us" If the law firm was on their game, they would have caught that the home builder sent the wrong COA, and gotten the correct one before simply forwarding to the client. So overall, some sloppy work. Again, the staff i dealt with was friendly enough, but need to tighten up on important details.
