This place has gone above and beyond to help me. They provided me so much help when I wasn’t even a client yet. They truly want to help and you can tell they care about the safety and wellbeing of their clients. Can't stand all the comments about how bad this place is for so long. I assure you if you put in the work this place will save and change the entirety of your life. It did for me because I'm understand what happens there is only half the battle

Very poor record keeping here and incompetent staff. We only entered the building 3 times for appointments. After discovering the Dr accidentally prescribed my daughter the wrong dosage of her medication we decided not to return. We did not schedule any other appointments yet we are being billed for 7 appointments. When I asked the woman at the front desk for proof of us checking in to the building she could not provide that but still billed me.

Tremendously Under staffed. No compassion. The Nurse practitioners will make you feel 2 inches tall when speaking to them about your disability or mental health. Donna Fladd will be the first one to tell you, you don’t need medication you need more therapy. What a joke. How’s only therapy going to help someone who absolutely needs mental health medications to function in every day life? You will wait 6 months to finally see a “nurse practitioner” whom tells you medication is not the answer therapy is…. That’s a severely uneducated answer. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I’ve now had to go straight to the management twice to fight for my right to be treated confidently, with respect and dignity.

My son had an first time appointment with Rachel Mace. My son was sitting in the waiting room when his name was called by Ms. Mace. The first thing she said to him in the waiting room before even saying hello was “are you high”. My son was taken back and said no why? Ms. Mace said “your one eye is red”. My son proceeded to tell her he was blind in that eye from a childhood accident and if your high both eyes would be red. This was all out in the waiting room. It gets much worse after he went into the room for his appointment. Ms. Mace proceeded to be very rude not only to my son but also his girlfriend. When my son explained why he was there to get information about a certain treatment. Ms. Mace kept interrupting and my son and his girlfriend both having a very hard time just telling her why they were there. Ms. Mace acted like she could have cared less what they were there for and started making faces like she was just over the conversation. She then told my son he needed to sign some papers to continue the session. When my son and his girlfriend asked what the paperwork was for, Ms. Mace would not explain to them what they were signing. My son’s girlfriend said that’s it, if you cannot explain the paperwork then my son was not signing anything. My son and his girlfriend then left the appointment understanding that going to see Ms.Rachel Mace was a complete waste of time. She is not their to help anyone. She treated my son like he didn’t have a brain in his head. What Ms. Mace didn’t understand is she was dealing with two professional people that do very well for themselves. My son and his girlfriend were treated like common criminals and that’s not how to treat anyone coming in to talk about such personal issues. Shame on Ms. Mace she should not work for this county office. I wonder how many other people come for help or just information and get treated like this?

I was lead to believe this place could help After a few weeks of being rescheduled pushed back a few more days I ended up wasting almost 2 weeks believing I was going to get assistance when in the end I was told I would not be able to be helped. I'm extremely disappointed in Wayne County.....

This place is a joke ! They will not listen nor try to work with both parties involving a child. The mental behavior unit is ran by unprofessional people.I know for sure of one Councler whom is definitely not willing to work with a family . Look at the rating 2.5 ! It’s should be less.
