Be careful with this company. Thirteen years ago we brought our son to Barbara Posner, the founder of this program. We feel we were taken advantage of by our desperation to help our troubled son. She aided us by sending him first to wilderness, then a crisis treatment center, and then to an RTC program in Idaho. If we didn’t pull him out, she would have had him go to another program after that. Our son is still traumatized from sending him away as a 12 year old. Our relationship with him has not healed either. Sending him away has also ruined his relationships with siblings and extended family. And then there is the exorbitant amount of money you will be spending. Be prepared for your entire family’s life to be forever changed. Maybe you will have better luck with Ms. seltzer.
