My dog was diagnosed with pyometra at another hospital but their costs were way too high. I walked in here for an emergency spay, hoping they could take my dog in right away at a lower cost. Fortunately, they were able to get her in immediately and within my budget! Everyone was very nice and helpful during a stressful time. My dog came out of surgery very well taken care of. Thank you to Pet Medical Center Sunland for saving my dog’s life!

I've had pets all my life. Been to many vet facilities and needed a new place closer to home. I decided to check out pet medical center since I drive past it every day. I'll save the details but they have been very accommodating, fair pricing and I believe honest. I have not gotten the feeling they are taking advantage of charging me for something that doesn't need to be charged. In fact they have specifically not charged for a few items that other vets would have.

Today specifically I was held up in traffic and the Doc still took me in even though I was WAY past our appointment time.

I'm happy to have a new vet and happy to recommend to anyone reading

I highly recommend this place. The staff are friendly and caring. And Dr. Afshar is the best. She was able to see my dog without an appointment and the wait wasn't long. She is very knowledgeable and her pet bedside manner is fantastic. She put my scared dog at ease. He was actually smiling. Also, the new remodel looks great!

I recently visited Pet Medical Center and was so impressed with their staff and their treatment for my dog. My dog is so afraid at the vets office because when he was a puppy he always got car sick. Because of that he hates riding in the car, it just makes him fearful of the whole experience. Dr. A was so kind and caring as my dog was petrified. I highly recommend Pet Medical Center her diagnosis was spot on for my dog and he’s doing great. The office staff is wonderful as well. Their office is very clean and everyone is so nice and caring. I give them an A+++++!!!

I took my dog in for a follow-up and also to get something else checked out and they treated my girl with so much care. They put us in a room almost immediately after noticing my dogs gets anxiety with abrupt noises, they treated her with kindness and spoiled her with treats. And the doctor took her time listening and explaining things, It was a very pleasant experience.

I have a 17 year old cat who is my life, and from the moment I stepped into Pet Medical Center I knew could trust their team to give Rowena the best care possible. Dr. Afshar is a true gem. It is clear that she cares about every animal she treats. She is warm and full of compassion and gives you solid advice. She always explains everything in a way that makes it easy for you to understand, and I have never felt like I was being sold on anything.
