Great care for an emergency situation. Spent a week hospitalized and was treated with respect and care. The doctors were knowledgeable and caring and tried their best to make sure my recovery was speedy. The nurses and staff in 2N were outstanding.

Labor and delivery staff were so awesome! Thank you to nurse Jenny, nurse Jacky, Dr. Beharie, and much love to all the other nurses that checked in on me. I am so grateful to be able to experience this hospital and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. They introduced themselves making my stay more comfortable and knowing I am getting compassion care.

I was brought in by ambulance. The EMT’s were amazing. They addressed my severe pain before I even got to the hospital. When I got to the emergency room they took me right back to a room where they tended to my abdominal pain. The doctor was there within 5 minutes. My nurse was very kind. I was treated and released. Very competent medical staff. Two thumbs up!!!!

We had our 4th & final baby here in 2023 after having our previous 3 at Eden in Castro Valley. This hospital wasn't horrible but I definitely wouldn't recommend it. The Dr's/nurses were nice & very caring, so that's what's most important. However the hospital was very run down & dirty, the recovery rooms were tiny, we were basically put in a closet. There was wads of hair and an old chip under the bed as if it hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. The paint was chipping off the walls & when housekeeping did come the woman wiped down the inside of the sink, & then proceeed to wipe down the counter with the same towel. I'm glad I happened to bring my own disinfectants. We left as soon as we possibly could. As I said, the Dr's & nurse's were all around pretty great but we definitely didn't have a very positive experience here due to the cleanliness & the size of the rooms.

The one star is for the great doctor I see. Everything else with this medical group is broken down. I was not able to get a CT scan ordered by the doctor within this medical group more than one month out and asked the doc to send order to John Muir which I usually go to. I have been making more than 20 calls and an in person visit to the office, From the doc office, call center, financial clearance authorization, the whole system is broken and I still cannot get scheduling with John Muir to have my CT done before the doc’s appointment. Terrible service terrible experience for patients already having health challenges. If it were not for the great doctor, I would never choose to come here for medical needs. John Muir is far better and more efficient. So frustrating!

Gave birth to my first born here 2022 which is while back but was the worst worst experience ever. Staff was extremely rude for the exemption of one nurse. I was admitted to be induced and after two days i asked for csection which they kept denying untill day 4 since “there was nothing else to try” to make labor progress. Ended up having a c section and while in surgery i was so so anxious and scared after experiencing 4 days of all kinds of medication and procedure to make labor happen. I felt i could not breath (im guessing i was having a some sort of panic attack) i voiced it many many times to a nurse or anesthesiologist not sure who was adding anesthesia to me since epidural had been in my body to long and he would just ignore me completely, and was chit chatting n laughing with a nurse that had rolled me in, which made me even more anxious. Thankfully once my husband was let in i told him n he called out the gentleman who was annoyed and say shes fine can you see her numbers here shes fine. I believe due to all this stress during c section and prior i developed postpartum preclemsia AND an infection in my blood which had developed due to having my water broken for 3 days. (According to one of the Dr) i was in bed for a total of 7 days and no physical therapy was offered or anything. Not even a walker. They had me get up and “try to exercise my legs” i can keep going on on so much medical neglect i experienced here. NEVER GIVE BIRTH HERE

I had been waiting for emergency room outside 2 hours and inside 1 hour. I asked nurse how long we should wait here. She said I do not know we have multiple patients here only one doctor working. What a hell it is emergency room. Why do we have to wait too long? Why they can't work smoothly and quickly? Why do we come emergency room we want smooth and quick service. I really do not understand why there are a lot of workers just talking to each other and chilling out here.

The lord brought my wife to tri valley. God bless these people they were the nicest and most professional hospital we have been to. And trust me with my wife having late stage cancer we have been everywhere in Northern California. They let me stay with her in a nice big room and treated us like family. The food was amazing and staff really cared. We transferred her GI doctor from uc davis to tri valley stanford. That was the best decision we ever did. They did a great job on her stent and also found a mass that uc davis missed.
