Kat & company were absolutely a pleasure to work with. They helped with current taxes as well as previous years that hadn’t been filed. She help create a plan for precious years’ back taxes. They were very reasonably priced — way better than the Block or some of the other big names. Highly recommend!

We filed our 2022 taxes with Kathy and we were told by her that someone already filed our taxes using my husband’s social# or mine. We have been trying to figure what happened with our case since we now could only speak with someone at the IRS. It has been over a year! Turns out - there were multiple errors on her end when filing our federal taxes that is why it said someone already filed our taxes. When reaching out expressing what the IRS told me about it was due to my preparers fault I was told “we don’t do refunds”. There was no is there anything I can do to help or I will partially give you a refund. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Used Kat for years. This year though, the price went way up. Had to pay $85.00 to HER for an extension because we were late, getting our papers to her on the 2nd of April. 85.00$!!! No extension filed with the IRS!!! Looking for another accountant for next year. Just too expensive.

I’ve been seeing Kat for many years (10+) for my income taxes. It was always pleasant until recently when I called to schedule appointments. I was accused of yelling which I apologized for as I’m deaf wearing two hearing aids. Then it was my attitude because I questioned the cost of $85 filling a extension on top of what I thought was $350 but because of my attitude she said she was going to charge me $500 What? I apologize if she thought I was yelling and I apologize that she thought I was rude as I was just asking questions and she snapped just because I’m hard hearing and I talk louder then normal and accusing me of being rude because I was asking questions about cost. Maybe she was having a bad day but that no way to treat a customer. Now to find a tax person that can treat elderly hard hearing customers with more respect and understanding.

The worse experience! This lady did our taxes for 2 years and we have now been audited for those 2 yrs, having to pay back over $12,000 to IRS and state taxes! We made the mistake of signing and not looking over what she was doing (claiming over $30,000 in deductions when we gave her $1,000 to claim!) it's unbelievable what this lady did and she's an ex IRS agent!! Than wanted to charge us $150 an hour to help with the audit! Be aware and careful if you make the mistake of using her! Friends that used her also got audited..do your homework!

My wife and I went to Kat to have our taxes done. After having her do our taxes the IRS audited us and come to find out she had changed our deduction without telling us we had to pay back the money to the IRS for the two years we used her. She's a scam don't use her
