My daughter started with Dr Brian Haig, in the summer after the 9th grade. I had some difficulty getting her to SCC but after she had a great 9th grade year, I wanted her to make a plan for college. I should be honest and say that there was resistance in getting her to SCC as she said noone else she knew was doing this .. Thankfully my daughter saw the value of solid college consulting that was indivisually tailored. A plan was made to develop a college application that told a story and showcased her strength. I want to add that when I had questions or concerns about the process, which was not often, Dr Haig would make every effort to talk things through with me in an honest and respectful way. She wanted to go to Wharton undergraduate for business but landed at UC Berkeley Haas undergraduate which I could not have been happier with.
