This past spring and summer my sister and I had the unpleasant task of not only selling my later mother's home but what was also our childhood home when our mother passed away. Elizabeth (Liz) Romero (and her husband John) lived across the street from my mom for about 20 years. They and my father all became friends, being the first neighbors the Romero family met upon moving into the neighborhood. We had never met Liz and John but frequently heard about them and their daughter Jayne from my mom. When my mom got sick in December/January, I had the opportunity to meet Liz personally, exchanging contact info "just in case." When Mom again became sick and was taken to the emergency room, the first call I received was from Liz. My mother passed away one week later. My sister and I knew immediately that Liz was the person to help us sell the house. Now some of you reading this review may be thinking that Liz was just laying the groundwork for future business. I can tell you that the thought NEVER crossed our minds.

It's been over 20 years since I had bought or sold any real estate. With the advancements in technology, we knew that the real estate process had changed significantly from what we knew and really had no idea where to begin. Before an agreement had even been reached with Liz, she patiently answered our questions about the process, giving us an overview of what we would be experiencing. That simply confirmed that we had made the right decision concerning Liz.

Once the agreement with Liz had been made formal, she held our hands throughout the entire process, she provided us with the perfect level of detail, answering our questions at any hour, day or night. She communicated with us during every step in the process. She ended up representing not only us as the sellers but also representing the buyers. We're sure that put her in a slightly awkward position but she assured us that throughout the process that we were her #1 priority.
