Super happy with my experience at American Tax Service! The staff was professional and answered all my questions, even the ones that seemed trivial. Have filed my taxes her for years with no problem. But this year there was new staff and was given one low ball quote at first and then they called back hours later with a different quote. But when I got paid over two months later it was different then both of the quotes that I was given. I was also audited. I did not feel comfortable taking it back to get fixed to this place since they kept getting it wrong and filed it different then what I asked. When I tried contacting to see about getting my money back the owner was very rude and unprofessional. Down right regrading. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They are a rip off. Never have I dealt with someone so disrespectful and not even wanting to hear what happened. I hope that they get shut down for treating so many people so wrong. According to other reviews there are a lot of people that feel the same way.

I've used American tax for 13 years are better. The guy who is running the one in phenix city is so unprofessional and uncaring. They charged me over 1000 bucks to do my taxes and when I got audited left me to deal with it myself. So very disappointed to say the least. I recommend finding a professional to handle your irs needs surely not American tax.
