When you are in a probate situation, you need a realtor who has experience, expertise, is professional, personable, flexible and a can-do attitude. My cousin passed away in CA. My cousin in WY and I who live in CO were appointed executors of the estate. Kim Ward and her staff proved to be one who guided us through challenges that were far from and above normal. She did not give up and kept driving to help us sell a condo. She did this and conquered crazy obstacles that were encountered. I cannot recommend her enough. Her attention to detail and ability to adapt are impeccable. All this with a smile and a pleasant attitude. She was invaluable to us. Because of her experience she had a quiver full of resources that were needed...appraisers, plumbers, general repair people, people to come in and take the contents of the property, cleaners, etc. All efficient and reasonably priced. She is THE BEST in the business, and I would hire her and her staff in a heartbeat.

Smooth sale all the way. We were a trust sale and the team knew all the ins and out and made it so easy. This made for a stress free experience. Being a trustee can be very stressful at times. We sold our house in five days and we received offers way above the listing price. They kept us informed at every step and called me many times and I live in Colombia. The team at Horizon Real Estate are true professionals. Kim and Ashlie are really nice people, easy to talk to and very pleasant to work with. There were 3 parties involved on the seller side, none of which live in San Diego. Communication was key and we were kept well informed at every step. Kim is a dynamite negotiator! She got us more than $100,000 above our asking price. And from listing to close of escrow took less than 5 weeks. I highly recommend the Horizon Real Estate Team. They are capable hard working and trustworthy.

Hiring Kim and Ashlie at Horizon real estate was the best decision I made while selling my brother's house after his passing. After my Mom passed away, we used Kim and Ashlie and others on the Horizon team to sell her home. These two did such a wonderful job. They took care of every detail along the way and always kept us up to date with frequent phone calls, emails and text messages. We had a few unique and difficult challenges that they handled so professionally and patiently. They really made some rather difficult situations much easier to handle. From sitting down with us the first time we met until the final title papers were signed, the Horizon team was there to assist us. I give Kim, Ashlie and Horizon my highest recommendation.
