Updated message response:

It seems that what was referred to as an “introduction” to the team was, in reality, a highly impersonal process. While others were provided with name tags, closer seating, and materials, I, along with others in the back, received none of these resources till the end. This created a noticeable disparity during what was essentially a 30-40 person group interview with no meaningful engagement or connection. What seemed more important was to show the office perks and challenge us on material that we were briefly shown.

This is just more of an extent warning ⚠️ SO other people are more aware of becoming a number in just the initial interview process. 🚩
Which means during the testing after a long so-called intense training you’re most likely going to end up similar to the interview process. Just another number to train.

It’s unfortunate that I felt reduced to just a number in the far back crowd. I couldn’t see the board and did my best to adapt. This experience alone speaks volumes. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in accounting & held a background as an analyst; I hope this feedback encourages your team to reevaluate this method to ensure you don’t overlook qualified and valuable talent in the future.

MY point from an insider that came in with the reasonable doubt & had excitement; but that sadly changed fast since I was shown in person directly that there is also NO Quality or care in this Compliance company; from the start of basic emails being filled with uncertainty and not even double checked, to the interview process being a large group that doesn’t serve any value because of the lack in ability to provide more manageable group number; it proved the lack of integrity and care of hiring quality people because the process of squeezing 40-45 people into the same meeting shows poor time management and commitment in all aspects.

I have read others remarks and it doesn’t surprise me; just my opinion to make changes.

1st posting remark:

I'm extremely disappointed with the interview process at Alliant Consulting. It was a complete waste of time and energy to come into the office for an interview that could have easily been conducted over ANOTHER** Zoom, especially given that this is a standard practice for many companies today. The lack of consideration for my time is frustrating, and it reflects poorly on the company’s approach to candidate experience. Additionally, it's concerning that the HR department sent out emails with incorrect dates, suggesting a lack of attention to detail or, frankly, a level of illiteracy that is unacceptable in a professional setting. This whole experience has left me with a negative impression of Alliant Consulting, and I hope they seriously reconsider their processes to avoid deterring potential candidates in the future.

I’ve worked for Alliant for almost 6 years. It’s been by far the best experience re-entering the workforce after taking time off to raise my family. Management has always been supportive and flexible. I truly consider my co-workers as my extended family. We work hard and are rewarded for our efforts. Our staff prides itself on quality work on behalf of our clients. I look forward to continuing to provide our clients with the highest standard of oversite in the industry.

Cons:
There were many downsides to working at Alliant. All of which had to do with management of the company. When I first started, Joanne (HR manager) and Christa (owner) promised an open door policy, however as I continued with the company I came to see the trend of there being an open door policy as long as you came to them with issues that didn't contradict them. As long as you were on their good side your position was safe with the company. However, should you come to them with any disagreement on policies or any issues with how they ran the company your standing with Alliant was easily threatened. As you can imagine, this contributed/s to an extremely high turn over at Alliant.

-The HR manager did not have adequate knowledge of labor compliance and thus proved to be a poor source of assistance to employees with things such as labor compliance, work load management, job training and coaching. All of which are issues someone in HR management for a labor compliance company should be able to handle.

-Labor compliance is a difficult subject to learn. I found that after a 2 week training period the expectations put on employees to perform at near perfection were extremely high! This contributed to functioning under a level of stress that left many employees drained and unhappy. Towards the end of my time at Alliant I regularly felt like just a number; as long as my performance was perfect I was in their good graces, but the minute I needed help or any kind of additional training I was considered a burden and drain on the company's resources. During my time at Alliant many employees were constantly fearful of losing their positions.

-I also noticed that management seemed to play favorites. People's positions were protected if the bosses liked you, but if not, then you would find yourself in a precarious position.

Suggestions to management:

-Find a new business model for the management of employee relations.
-Get a new HR manager who knows how to deal with people, knows the trade, and has the ability to be kind.
- Don't play favorites with employees and be willing to help those who need more training. It can't always be about numbers.

I first learned about Alliant Consulting when my sister switched careers from the Counseling Psychology to #laborcompliance #prevailingwage in April 2018. I was so jealous, but a year later I would make Alliant history! I was one of five Labor Compliance Administrative Clerks applicants selected to be part of Alliance first “OG” newbies Class 2019. During the first two weeks of our classroom training we got to meet all the staff and hear about their experiences and best practices. The curriculum is easy to follow and there is always someone there to answer all questions and I ask a lot of questions. Alliant is a place where everyone gets a chance to sparkle and be yourself. This month I celebrated my 1-year anniversary with Alliant. It has been a year filled with opportunities for the whole Alliant Consulting family. “Expanding in all ways, Always” --Ryan Servant, Million Dollar Listing New York.

Our company is a global pipeline engineering services company and when language regarding prevailing wage and labor compliance requirements began appearing in our contracts and RFP's, Alliant Consulting's expert staff was there to guide us. We met with the owner, Christa Schott, who was clearly very knowledgeable in this industry and had the right connections with the DIR who, we were later to learn was key to determining if our company was subject to such requirements.
The various requirements that spanned across all the states we worked in felt overwhelming and we are grateful for the resources, experience and expertise the staff was able to provide us with.

I work closely with Alliant Consulting. They overlook Labor Compliance for many of our General Contractors. They do a great job in ensuring compliance in both my company and our tiered-subs.
