I can’t begin to explain how incredible Karen and her team have been! My 96-year old mom and her 91-year old husband needed to move from their home in Santa Barbara to a senior community in San Diego, closer to family. It meant some drastic downsizing for them, and a challenging “clean up” for me to prepare the house for sale.

Karen is a great communicator, diving enthusiastically into a daunting task—identifying artwork and furnishings for two separate apartments, tagging artwork for storage, and other items for delivery to my house. She also went through my mom’s closets to select attractive and practical clothes for her new home in memory care. Whew!

Karen did her work with care to minimize the emotional impact on my mom. The actual packing and moving took place two days after they moved themselves (by wheelchair van).

The movers she hired for me were friendly and careful with their belongings. We didn’t experience any damage or missing items, and they were incredibly patient with a tedious unloading process at the assisted living facility and two subsequent stops. Pay (and tips) well earned!!

After exploring different options, Karen recommended an estate liquidator to deal with the house full of remaking “stuff” so we could prepare the house for market. Perfect.

For anyone needing assistance with a complex move of elderly loved ones, I highly recommend Karen and her team.

Probably the best endorsement was my mom’s comment after she saw her apartment decorated with her favorite belongings: “It feels like home!”

Having Karen and her team by our families side as my mom moves on in this next chapter of life has been priceless. It's making it fun instead of work and helping to keep our family relations positive and light. I would recommend this amazing service and team of wonderful people to anyone.
