I went to the dinner presentation with a friend hoping to meet a good lawyer to handle our living trust. As it turned out, the event was simply to get us there to sign up for an appointment. Although a Power Point presentation was given there was no question and answer period and much of the presentation was marketing fluff. I left a bit disappointed and unsure of what I had signed up for as were other guests at our table. When they called me about my appointment I asked if I could ask Eric (lawyer) for some basic information about his services before committing my time to a meeting. Josh did his best to assure me that my time would not be wasted but I finally got Eric on the phone. Eric was not interested in listening to my questions and rudely spoke over me during the entire conversation. I think he thought he was answering my concerns but he actually seemed unable to stop talking long enough to just listen to me. I decided then that I could not work with this firm on such an important matter as our estate planning.
