We had used Sanjay’s tax services for almost 3 year now. Sanjay is a highly knowledgeable CPA, a thorough professional and responds promptly to all the tax queries. For one of the years (I suspected that I overpaid for a tax return that was filed with a different CPA) where I had to file an amendment, he was on a call with me walking through the tax return and was able to locate the root cause within a few minutes. He then helped me with the amendment return and I was able to get a significant refund amount. Sanjay and his team are experts on all the tax rules and do a fabulous job every single time. With some of my other earlier CPAs, I had to do some hand holding and the draft tax return had to be corrected a few times before making it final; sometimes even missing some deductions and tax categories. Sanjay has a template he uses where all data for all the tax categories is collected upfront and does a fantastic job! I highly recommend Sanjay for anyone that needs a reliable CPA. With Sanjay, I feel you are in good hands.

I had a disappointing experience with this office. After receiving numerous emails encouraging me to sign up for their consulting services for $200, I uploaded my documents, including three years of tax returns, to their portal. The scheduled call started 10 minutes late, and it became evident that the Sanjay was reviewing my tax returns for the first time during the call.

His response to my questions was dismissive, stating, "You're a W-2 guy; it's black and white, we can't do much." It felt like he hadn't even read my specific questions. After the call, I followed up with multiple emails to clarify topics we had discussed, such as LLCs, rental professional status, and deductions. His response? "I don’t remember; I talk to many people." There were no notes or summaries from the call, making it impossible to get any clarity.

This is not how professional services should operate. If you're looking for someone thorough and reliable, I strongly recommend finding a more professional and organized tax consultant.

I had a very disappointing experience with Sanjay TaxPro. After paying a $200 fee, the consultant missed first scheduled meetings without proper communication. When they finally showed up after sent multiple firm emails, they had not reviewed the documents I had uploaded or the questions I had submitted in advance.

This lack of preparation and professionalism made the entire process feel like a complete waste of time and money. I expected a higher standard of service, especially considering the fee charged. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this consultant to anyone seeking reliable and thorough tax advice.

Very Very Disappointing Experience with Lack of Respect for Time and POOR Quality of Service.

I recently had an unsatisfactory experience that I feel compelled to share. Unfortunately, there were several areas where my expectations were not met.

First, there was a noticeable lack of respect for my time. I was asked to call between 4-7 PM on a Saturday. When I called at 4:30 PM, I was told to call back at 5:30 PM. However, during that second call, instead of discussing my concerns, I was asked to pay $200 for a separate consultation.
I scheduled a call for 9:30 AM on Sunday using their calendar, but without consulting me, they changed the time to 10:15 AM. I then rescheduled for 1:30 PM, but after multiple attempts, I was informed 8 minutes late that my calls were being disconnected intentionally due to another line. A courtesy notification would have been appreciated, and when they finally called me back after about 17 minutes, there was no apology for the inconvenience.

Secondly, the quality of service was disappointing. During our brief 13-minute call, I received advice that felt deeply inadequate for the time and money spent. Instead of tailored guidance, I was sent a link to a Google search result I already had, and irrelevant questions were asked about my AGI. He did not answer most of the questions I asked. Additionally, there seemed to be a focus on upselling services rather than addressing my specific needs.

Overall, my experience significantly fell short of even basic expectations. I shall never ever work with this firm and that would my recommendations for others as well.

Sanjay Taxpro is a professional organization with a lot of tax expertise. Sanjay is a CPA with many years experience. I had my taxes done with him over 6 years. He is very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. Answers all questions in detail and on time. Makes sure all documents are submitted before preparing tax returns. Most importantly he is there to support you and answer questions if you get an inquiry regarding your tax returns. I recommend him for simple or more complex tax return needs.

I used Sanjay’s services for my tax needs and it is safe to say that he is one of the best tax professionals around in the Bay area. I had bad experiences with other tax accountants previously. I had to constantly run behind them, call them and request them to get my work done. Even then, they only did half of the work. But with Sanjay, all I had to do was follow the steps that he had emailed me and my tax filing was done. He also helped me solve some other issues that I had with my previous tax filings and was very prompt in answering calls and emails. He prepared my taxes within a week and filed it as soon as I submitted it back to him with my signatures. I highly recommend using Sanjay’s services for your tax needs!

Sanjay tax pro have been filing my tax returns from many years and they are the most organized and process oriented firm and team. Unlike other tax professionals who will file for you but when there is an issue there is no record of the what calculations went it to the filing , Sanjay tax pro on the other hand document every detail and explain why they are choosing one option over other (for instance why this time they are choosing standard vs itemized or the other way) .
