Decent sized playground with selections for both small and bigger kids. Handicap options for the children with mobility issues. 3 ball fields and a track that loops around them. also some tennis and pickleball courts and a basketball court. A covered seating area is available in the playground area and another area beside the larger field. There is also a new picnic pavilion located on the side of the Dora pond that has climate controlled restrooms.

I like this Park it has variety and security being right beside a Police Station. You have the tennis court, basketball court, ball fields, walking track, trail to a nice pond, large parking lot, and ofcourse the playground with up to date play things... the swings could use an update and the bathrooms needs updated and to be cleaned more frequently. There's plenty of benches throughout the property incase you get tired but only 2 drink machines by the concession stand used during games. They have the baseball pratice pen. And on 1 side is a Pavillion aside the Playground with about 4 picnic tables that is not enclosed and on the other side of the park is an enclosed Pavillion connected with 2 bathrooms. I've had many of my of my childrens birthday parties there on both sides and they went well.

Had a fun time at the grandbabies birthday party. A good ways to walk to the pavilion on the other side of batting cages for an elderly. It took my mom an hour to get there from the parking lot. She can't walk that far with out resting several times. Will know next time to furnish something to make it easier on her. Now the kids on the other note, Had a Blast! The playground area was packed with little ones on Sunday afternoon. It was a Beautiful day, pavilion was clean and in the shade. Have had parties there many times.

Great park for all ages! Shade on play area would be great on hot days.
Would also be nice if people watched their children instead of letting them cuss and throw things at other children. Other than that, nice park!

This really is a decent park in a small town. It's hot! I would advise against wearing sandals, flip flops or anything that has your feet bare. They have a black color rubber fill in around the swings and rides. It's an excellent idea for safety but not skin safety. It's right next to a fire department so it's perfect if you are worried about crime or even rescue wait time.
My Honest Assessment
Our kiddos love Dora Park. Their is plenty for the whole family to enjoy in a safe area right next to the police and fire station. Park is always clean and well kept. Definitely out go to playground. The pond is also a very beautiful place to have a picnic, take a wake, or fish.

Dora Park is very clean and family friendly. It is handicap accessible! It is also dog friendly!! Just as long as you clean up after your fur baby's! Do Not let your dog's on the playground area, that's the only part of the park that your dog's are not allowed!!!!! The only down side of the park is the restrooms!!!! Every time I've been there the restrooms has been poorly lit, not very clean at all (yes they are cleaner than some other park's but still not very good), and the handicap stalls toilet seat is about to fall off! The light's needs upgraded so you can actually see. Whoever is in charge of cleaning needs to do a much better job but also the people who use the restrooms need to treat it as they treat their own restrooms!!!!!!!! Finally, someone needs to fix the toilet seats so people won't be afraid they would fall in the floor!!!!

Love this park. There's plenty to do, even in small town parks. This one has covered picnic areas, tennis courts, a baseball or softball field. There's access to the walking trail from the park but be warned; there are steps, lots and lots of steps. Going down them is easy but if you aren't in the best shape coming back up them probably isn't your best choice. A couple of the best things about the park are that it's near the police station and (best part) a beautiful place with a lake, ducks, fish, and a beautiful wooden walkway made by the Boy Scouts of America. As far a safety it's right behind the police station.
