My Inno-V counselor provided me with invaluable insight into shaping my high school resume as an aspiring computer scientist. I first started working with my Inno-V counselor at the start of my sophomore year in high school. My counselor recommended me with plenty of prestigious summer programs, community college coursework, and other opportunities designed to further my passion for CS.

Without a doubt the greatest contribution from my counselor was the greatly reduced stress involved in the college application process. My counselor helped organize my college list into reaches, targets, and safeties, while also help brainstorm unique ideas for my college essays. Moreover, my counselor aided in the revision and polishing of my final drafts, which helped secure me a spot as a CS major at UCLA!

I started working with Inno-V in the spring of my junior year. My counselor was helpful with finding summer programs that suited my interests and creating an initial college list, but what I appreciated most was the feedback and revisions of the content and form of my essays. A fast response time and essay revision turnaround allowed me to write without the pressure of deadlines and receive constant feedback for me iterate with. Inno-V definitely helped me get into some of my top choices like Berkeley, UCLA, USC, and Georgia Tech!

I had the lucky opportunity to work with my Inno-V for college counseling since the 2nd semester of my 9th grade. As an international student, I had a lot of academic struggles, also Covids hit me pretty hard. However, since working with my consultant from Inno-V, everything got better. I had a check-up with them almost every week, advising course-taking at school, and planning out my extracurriculars.

Since I worked with my consultant from Inno-V for a long time, when it came to college admissions season, I felt so much less stressed since everything had been planned. By the summer of 11th grade, I already finalized my college list and I love how my consultant listened and respected my college choices. He also gave me so much advice and information about colleges that have strong programs for my major so I could have more options and choices to apply to. Moreover, my consultant spent 2 months with me thinking about the main theme of my personal essay until I finalized it. Then they helped me edit every single of my supplemental essays and provided critical feedback. Not only essays but they also help me with my Letter of Continued Interest after I got deferred and waitlisted. At the most stressed time of my college season, my consultant was always there to encourage and support me.

As an international student and the first kid in my family to attend high school in the US, I cannot tell how much I appreciate my consultant from Inno-V who has walked me (sometimes pushed :>) through the last 4 years. I have so many good options for my major such as Univ of Washington, Purdue, Case Western Reserve (Engineering), and so many more great colleges. I decided to commit to Univ of Washington, and I know that I cannot make it without my consultant from Inno-V.

I found that Inno-V Consulting very helpful in keeping me accountable and on track to finishing all my college applications before winter break of senior year. Personally, I found the most helpful part of Inno-V Consulting was helping me to find opportunities and resources that allowed me to succeed and get the internships and experience I wanted to get in high school. Additionally, all counseling was done online which saved me a lot of time especially with the extracurriculars I had packed into my schedule. My Inno-V Educational Consultant was also easily accessible, commutative and the turnover time was always very quick.

So far, I got accepted into Pepperdine University, Baylor University, UC Berkeley and UCLA among other UC's, and waitlisted for Case Western, Northeastern and Emory as a Bio / Health Sciences major going the pre-med track. I also applied for and received a full-tuition scholarship (Posse Foundation Scholarship) to Lehigh University. I felt that Inno-V Consulting played a huge role in helping me gain the skills and experience needed to get this scholarship, and overall helped relieve the stress that comes from applying to colleges.

I started working with Inno-V after junior year to help me through the application process. I think the biggest impact working with the counselor made versus if I were to have done everything myself is the quality of my essays. As someone who is not very creative, I had a hard time coming up with ideas. My counselor helped me brainstorm ideas and suggest general themes in a way such that everything I was writing were my own thoughts and opinions while being more meaningful and polished than if I were to have written them entirely by myself, and I ended up getting into CMU for CS! Inno-V educational consultant is extremely knowledgeable in what colleges are looking for and I feel like even if I were a very strong, creative writer, Inno-V would still have contributed significantly to my college application.

Throughout high school, I had been to trial meetings with quite a few college counseling companies, however after meeting with so many, Inno-V Consulting stood out to me because they were able to tell me a clear path to my goal.

I started working with Inno-V the start of my junior year, when most of my college prep plans had been disrupted with the start of full time virtual school in quarantine. At the time I had little direction and no knowledge of the application process, and so the help of Inno-V Consulting played a big part in my continuing to stay involved in activities even at home.

Throughout my college application process, the consultant was clearly experienced and very knowledgeable, and their guidance was able to assuage many of the worries and uncertainties. The consultant was extremely helpful in creating my college list and helping me stay on top of deadlines. In addition, they were able to introduce me to various opportunities such as summer programs, internships, and other organizations that helped me build up extra-curricular activities that made me a competitive candidate for the major I was looking into.

Thanks to the Inno-V consultant, I was able to get into many of the top schools on my list for the major of my choice, Design, including USC, UMich, and UCSD!

Inno-V really helped me open up my college options and allowed me to present my best self to colleges.

As a person who is prone to procrastination, I think having a college counselor definitely helped big time. My counselor helped me pick out my goals, set up a plan, and keep up with my personal deadlines which I would probably have slacked off on if by myself. Of course, this is not to mention the navigation of the different college application sites. (There's literally so many and they would crash ALL THE TIME. Literally don't know where I would be without Vi)

Since I attended a large public school, the school counselors' really were not even close to enough. You'd be lucky if they submitted your transcripts for you on time, never mind essays and extracurriculars and stuff. Some of my friends who went without a counselor often found themselves either missing important college deadlines or just not having enough time to edit their 500 essays which, thank god, was not a problem for me. (Even if I finished like LAST LAST min Vi always pulled through for me at the end and got it to me on time and within the word count!) They also really care about your feelings and mental health so you could always talk to them if your encountering anything you don't feel comfortable telling your parents. Really friendly staff as well.

It's really only with the help of Inno-V did I up at decent colleges in the end, and I'd definitely recommend this service to anyone reading this!

I have been working with Inno-V since beginning of 10th grade year. They have done exactly everything I hope to get the support during my high school years. My college counselor is very friendly and knowledgeable. He’s able to guide me with specific concrete plans, from recommending outside courses to further my GPA to finding extracurricular activities and summer programs that gear toward my interests.

Through my college counselor’s guidance, I was able to choose a major pathway which is what I want to do in my life - nursing. The whole process for nursing program was very competitive, but Inno-v was able to help me with the whole process, from building a college list that matches my preferences and profile to help me write the most compelling personal college essays to all the strategies and tips along the way.

I’m happy to say that I got into my dream school Case Western University Reserve for the Nursing program. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to work with Inno-V!
