Selina is not only a consummate professional with subject matter expertise and confidence, but she is also an incredibly caring and thoughtful person. When I worked with her regarding an HR issue, I was immediately and consistently impressed by her knowledge. Because of her, I felt very supported in a situation where I had been feeling lost and confused. She was very responsive and followed up until the issue was resolved. If you are a business owner in California, you understand what is needed from an HR expert. Selina Thomas is that expert. Her expertise, interpersonal skills, and down right grit sets her apart from anyone else I know in the HR space. Our small business has been working with 6 Degrees HR Consulting since 2017. Selina's expertise has been invaluable! We are too small/don't need to employ a full-time HR position, but often need professional help to make sure we are going about things the proper way. Selina is always available to answer our questions, no matter how small. She also takes on more complicated tasks such as new program implementation, presentations, informing us of the most up-to-date government programs, hiring regular and seasonal employees, and more. Her rates are very reasonable. In addition to her boundless HR knowledge, she has also been able to refer us to other professionals (workplace safety, 401K implementation, financial/tax experts, etc.) with whom has worked and they are always top-tier.
